Nobody wants to be involved in a car accident, but many people find themselves in this position at some point during their lives. If you live in or around the Baltimore area, or read the paper (!), you know that there are always accidents occurring.
Maryland, just the same as other states throughout the country, keeps records on the number of car accidents that occur every year. Furthermore, the state keeps tabs on how many people are killed and injured in such accidents.
There are motorcyclists throughout the state of Maryland, most of whom look forward to spending time on the open road. Unfortunately, there are situations in which a motorcyclist is injured due to the negligence of another driver.
A pedestrian accident can happen in any part of the United States, regardless of the city or type of roadway. That being said, some areas, such as Baltimore, experience larger numbers of these types of accidents. According to a study completed by the National Complete Streets Coalition, Baltimore ranked number 28 out of 51 major metro areas among the most dangerous cities for pedestrians.
From one side of Maryland to the next, including big cities and small towns, car accidents happen from time to time. Some of these incidents result in no injuries and little damage; however, there are others in which those involved are taken to the hospital for treatment or even killed.
