Courting Art Baltimore
Brian Katzenberg, Esq. of Cohen, Snyder, Eisenberg & Katzenberg P.A. has been the co-chair of Courting Art Baltimore since 2014. Courting Art is a program that promotes youth artwork, connects the legal community with local communities of Baltimore City, and aims to reduce stress and anxiety for litigants and visitors by beautifying local courthouses. Led by the District Court of Maryland, Baltimore Bar Foundation, Inc. and the Bar Association of Baltimore City, the contest is open to all Baltimore City public high school students. The contest entails a submission of a painting, drawing, or other two-dimensional works of art.
The top works are awarded prizes by a juried panel. Prizes include scholarships totaling $20,000.00 for art programs or post-high school degrees as well as gift certificates for art supplies. In addition, the top works are professionally reproduced for long-term display at the Baltimore City Eastside District Courthouse.

Athletes Serving Athletes

Athletes Serving Athletes is an organization that supports individuals living with disabilities participate in running races and triathlons across the Mid-Atlantic Region. Started in Baltimore City in 2007, the organization pairs runners and triathletes with other athletes that require wheeled assistance in participating in such sports. Athletes Serving Athletes participates in over 90 competitive races per year as well numerous training runs in preparation for the races. Athletes Serving Athletes is a wonderful example of community leadership and support in Maryland.
Since 2017 Cohen, Snyder, Eisenberg & Katzenberg P.A (“COSEK”) has been providing financial support to individuals and organizations in our local community who have given back in exceptional ways. Formerly known as Pay It Forward, COSEK paired with a local media outlet to highlight such people.
Cohen, Snyder, Eisenberg & Katzenberg P.A is now asking for applications directly from both individuals and organizations to continue its tradition of giving back. The financial contribution by COSEK will be awarded bi-annually in July and December, and recipients will be recognized on our website and social media outlets.
In order to qualify, an organization or individual must submit an application through our website. Individuals or organizations must provide examples of going above and beyond for those in their community and, should they be awarded the contribution, how the financial support will be used.
